Ph.D. students Connor Pierce and Ganesh Patil presented their latest research work at the Virtual meeting of Society of Engineering Sciences 2020. Connor’s presentation was on – “Fuzzy band gaps”: quantifying Bloch wave evanescence in viscoelastic phononic crystals, while Ganesh’s was on – “Tunable bandgaps and second harmonic generation of a one-dimensional nonlinear phononic material with periodic rough interfaces”.
