Nick O’Brien (B.S., Mechanical Science and Engineering)
I am studying for a B.S. in Mechanical Science and Engineering. I completed a co-operative education with Mercury Marine’s CAE team in Wisconsin, learning how limited our simulations are by the availability of real-world data. Now, I work in the WPM Lab with Ph.D. student Elizabeth Smith on a project to characterize the material properties of 3D printed material. In my free time, I enjoy playing music with friends, watching movies, and hiking.
Songyuan (Mark) Cui (B.S., Mechanical Science and Engineering)
I am an undergraduate student of class 2022 majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Computer Science. Prior to joining WPM Lab, I had an internship at a ZF Friedrichshafen branch in China with a focus on industrial assembly line design and optimization. Since joining WPML in January 2020, I’ve been working with Ph.D. student Ganesh Patil on the analysis of transient wave propagation. I enjoy watching movies and soccer games in my free time (fan of FC Barcelona).
Keerthi Kamath (B.S., Mechanical Science and Engineering)
I am an undergraduate student pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, with an expected graduation date of 2023. I joined the WPM Lab in January 2021, and I have been working with Ph.D. student Ignacio Arretche to study the composition of 3D printed materials developed with binder jetting technology. In my free time, I enjoy art, horror movies, and playing with my pet guinea pig.
