Ph.D. Student Ganesh Patil’s recent work on “Leveraging nonlinear wave mixing in rough contacts-based phononic diodes for tunable nonreciprocal waves” is accepted for publication in Extreme Mechanics Letters. This work demonstrates how nonlinear wave mixing in phononic materials with rough contacts enables the tunability of nonreciprocal waves. The paper may be found here.
