Ph.D. Student Betsy Smith won the Best Student Paper Award – second place at the 181st Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America at Seattle, Washington. Betsy presented her work on “Wave propagation in a continuum nonlinear phononic material with soft nonlinear elastic layers” at the “Acoustics Metamaterials” session. Congrats Betsy!
