Jean Myung Jung (B.S., Engineering Mechanics)

I am an undergraduate student pursuing a B.S. degree in Engineering Mechanics by the spring semester of 2024. I joined the WPML in the junior year of undergraduate studies. I worked with Ph.D. student Connor Pierce on characterization of Magnetoactive Elastomers through Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) and vibration studies of DMA experimental setup. In the summer of 2022 and 2023, I trained as an undergraduate researcher at Acoustics and Vibration Laboratory in Seoul National University. Besides academics, I love listening to music and watching sports highlights with friends.

Nate Scriba (B.S., Materials Science and Engineering)

I am currently working to pursue a B.S. Degree in Materials Science Engineering with a minor in Atmospheric Sciences. I joined the WPML in February 2023, and have since been working with Ph.D. student Betsy Smith designing and utilizing phononic sonic crystals to analyze the audible band gaps of different lattice metamaterial structures. Outside of the lab, I enjoy playing guitar, watching movies, and going on runs.

I am a junior undergraduate student pursuing a B.S. degree in Mechanical Science and Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. I joined WPML lab on December 2023. I am currently working with Ph.D. student Connor Pierce to create an automated Dynamic Mechanical Analysis setup and a
dedicated MATLAB app platform for controlling the setup. In my free time, I enjoy learning more about coffee and going on workout and jogging sessions.

Rohit Choudhary (B.S., Engineering Mechanics)

I am a Sophomore currently majoring in Engineering Mechanics with a minor in Computer Science. I joined the Wave Propagation and Metamaterials Lab in October of 2022 and began working with Ph.D. student Luis M. Baldelomar Pinto to explore the properties of metamaterials in various high strain-strain and high loading scenarios. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, listening to music, and watching football with friends.
